Bitumen sealing

Council approved · Driveways

Council-approved bitumen seal driveways that improve all-weather access and reduce ongoing gravel maintenance — a standout need across the Northern Rivers and New England.

Learn more about bitumen sealing →

Typical scope:

  • Assessment of existing surface, base, and drainage
  • Preparation, grading, and compaction as required
  • Council-approved bitumen seal application to agreed finish (2-coat / 3-coat as specified)
  • Aggregate size and coats confirmed on quote
  • Driveway entries, runs, and practical rural layouts

Final method and materials depend on site conditions, drainage, and your budget. We’ll explain options clearly in the quote. Some driveway entries off public roads may need separate council or road-authority approval. Clients are responsible for confirming those requirements. We’re happy to point you in the right direction and work within the scope of those approvals.

How we quote: We’ll measure the area, check access, drainage and council requirements, agree the seal specification (including coats), then send a clear written quote.

Vegetation management

Flail mulching · Stick raking · Fence line clearing

Clearing and vegetation control so you can build, access, or maintain the property safely. We run a Yanmar ViO55 (~5.5t) with FAE flail mulcher for dense growth, regrowth and tight areas, a Caterpillar D3G dozer with stick rake for larger clearing, and a Komatsu PC130 excavator with log grab for stacking and handling timber.

Typical scope:

  • Flail mulching for dense growth and regrowth
  • Stick raking to tidy cleared ground
  • Fence line clearing for boundary access and maintenance
  • Clearing for building envelopes and driveway corridors
  • Coordination with earthworks so mulching and cut-to-fill flow as one job where practical

Clients are responsible for confirming any tree or vegetation approvals and environmental conditions for their property. We’re happy to point you in the right direction and work within the scope of those approvals.

Not sure which pillar fits?

Describe the problem — boggy access, uncleared fence line, unfinished driveway, a pad that needs cutting — and we’ll recommend a sensible scope.
